We take safety very seriously at Fit Rocks. This is a brief rundown of what we expect at the gym, and how bouldering works. Each route has it’s own color to follow. Start where the tape is at the bottom and end where the tape is at the top. When falling, push away from the wall. Land on two feet and roll backwards with your arms tucked into your chest. DO NOT put your arms down to brace your fall. DO NOT turn away from the wall when falling. NEVER walk under another climber. NEVER climb too close to another person. Always give others plenty of space to fall safely. We don’t recommend spotting at our gym. While bouldering is a fun activity, we take these safety concerns very seriously. We reserve the right to remove climbers from the facility if these rules are not being followed.
