October 12, 2016 Reply ultrabaiter have to admit a bit of a crush on Natalie tbh : D November 29, 2016 Reply ultrabaiter The JWST team are a bit dismayed at the prospect of a lot of time being used on Planet Hunting : D They have a marvellous scope, designed to see VERY distant objects, red shifted far into the infra red…EXTREMELY faint (and light from a few 1000 years after the Big Bang)…..but all anyone wants to look at now is relatively nearby stars (which are massively bright for an instrument like JWST).. hah….lets just build another scope (if you ask me)…that is designed for characterising extra solar planets….
